What is it ?

Sport-Elec Equin® is an electro-musculation apparatus for horses created by the French company Sport-Elec^®.

Specialized in the design of electro-musculation devices for men and women in France, Europe and worldwide, Sport-Elec^® launches out a new challenge and widens the application possibilities of electro-musculation technology , used by people since more 50 years.

This is not the first time that the efficiency of electro-stimulation on musculature is being tried on a horse. Some equine kinesitherapists have understood the therapeutic interest of this technology and tried to use it by means of complicated machines and electrodes difficult to apply to the animal hairs.

Sport-Elec^®has found the solution by carrying out Sport-Elec Equin® , an easy-to use device, effective, precise and comfortable for the horse, who relaxes almost instantaneously once the device started.

What for ?

Musculation:: In addition to a basic sports activity, Sport-Elec Equine® takes part in muscular reinforcement. The programs endurance, explosive force or maintenance, make it possible to work the muscle in a different way according to the animal's needs.
Warm-up and active recovery:: Electro-musculation involves a very important vasodilatation which allows elimination of toxins and prevents the appearance of cramps and aches. These programs are to be used before and after a working session.
Relaxation:: The principle is to stimulate the peripheral nervous system by electrodes posed on the skin with an aim of relieving a localised or diffuse muscular tension.

How is concerned ?

Sport-Elec Equin makes it possible to make work the muscles of the back, the shoulders, and the glutei of all the horses * : a foal, a working horse, an immobilized horse, a stallion in preparation to covering.

Sport-Elec Equin makes electro-musculation accessible to all those who want to take care of the muscles of their horse : professionals as well as private individuals, veterinary surgeons and horse-riding clubs.

PHASE :: It is a period of time of a current diffusion . A phase is made up a width of impulse, of frequency and one duration.
REPETITION :: A number of repeated phases within each program. The figures indicating the repetitions are rounded to the higher figure.
